Red Sox no questions asked...

Take the pelgrins and ride the streak.

All the edge is on their side against the slumpy A´s.
Better bats, better pitcher, and above all a better bullpen...

This is the reason why you should take Boston over Oakland tonight...

Matchup Edge

OAK Edge in: BOS

Starter
Bullpen
Hitting
Power
Speed
Defense
Bench

I don´t think this requires any explanation, except the fact that Curt Schilling is playing for the Red Sox.

With a day´s rest Big Papi and the crew will take no prisoners.
Take Boston -1,5 @2.15 at BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

the ideal comeback...

Both predictions came through, and the result is two extra wins for the status.

Saint Louis could not handle the situation and lost 7-1 to Milwaukee, and Arizona took advantage of the enormous effort of a tired Dodgers team by winning 9-1.

The extra money is welcomed,
Mr. BangB

Seventeen is one inning too much...

Take a team in good shape, and then take a team that played seventeen innings yesterday and won... You’ve found a mismatch.

The LA Dodgers played a hell of a road game, yesterday, against
San Diego and won after seventeen innings. Their bullpen went for 10+ innings and they won...

They won, they won, amazing... But, this means they are tired and relaxed. Yes, this happens when you win a big rivalry game and so demanding as this one. On the other hand you have Brandon Webb, NL CY winner, and the streaky Arizona Diamondbacks. I expect no result other then a quiet D-backs win.

Take Arizona @1,87 at BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

Too much to overcome...

The thunder strikes twice...

Tragically, disaster knocks on the Saint Louis Cardinals door again in only 5 years time. For the second time in a short period of time a baseball player in the Cardinals roster has suffered a fatal accident, most of the players in the lineup still remember the first one, it is just too much for them to bear.

Take Milwaukee @1,78 at BET365

I have no joy in making this prediction,
Mr. BangB

A dark day in baseball

I would like to give my most sincere condolences on the loss of Joshua Morgan Hancock.

The ST. Louis Cardinalss pitcher, tragically, passed away in a car accident this morning.

After all, just offense is not enough...

The Red Sox won over A-Rod... yes, that is right.

The only thing the Yankees had going yesterday was A-Rod´s performance, but that was not enough for the BoSox.
Adam Pettite played very well but the saver could not do is job.

Another win on my axe.

Let´s march to war...

Have you ever heard of the Napoleon wars? That Is nothing compared with the rivalry we are about to witness tonight.

The matchup between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees goes back as far as the eighteenth hundreds… and tonight, Johnny Damon, A-Rod, Derek Jeter, big Papi, Manny, Drew, are preparing to write another page on that long list of Home runs, strikeouts, or double plays.
This time I will introduce the 1-2-3 strategy (this is the name I invented for it), and I will explain it on another post later tonight.
Basically I will take the BoSox tonight since they have the big advantage over the Yankees, this advantage being pitching.
The Massachusetts natives are throwing to the mound Curt Schilling to face the Bronx’s A. Pettite, this is a pretty good matchup and I don’t see a big difference in their quality. The big problem is that NY is relying on their offense alone and allowing a lot of runs, well, tonight they will not be scoring a lot. So, in a low scoring game I think that Boston as a much greater chance of nailing this one. If the game goes to top numbers, then the bullpens become a factor, and as you should already know the Red Sox have a tremendous advantage there.

Take the BoSox @1,93 at BET365

Best of luck,

I am officialy back...

Boston won and the streak is over...

No question in this one, Boston decided to destroy Erwin Santana´s hopes of changing is road record. The Red Sox scored 6 runs in the first inning and won the game 7-2.
Not too much to tell here.

So it is time to mark another win on the spreadsheet.

Ciao,
Mr. BangB

Thank God for Patriot´s day...

Please stop the streak...

Today the Red Sox host the LA Angels on Patriot´s day, this means that the game is played at noon. Well in LA it is 9 in the morning by the time the Angels take the field, so I am guessing they would prefer to be sitting on the breakfast table instead of grabbing the bats.
Other then that Boston uses it's Ace pitcher Josh Becket, while LA plays Erwin Santana. Santana is even going to due a ritual to see if the curse that he has on the road leaves is glove.
I don't imagine other outcome for this match beside a Boston win.

Take the BoSox @1.55 at BET365

Let´s kill the streak,
Mr. BangB

When you go down, you go down...

Well, the streak as extended to three...

The Nicks decided to give Toronto a run for their win, they had a perfect 5 from 5 for 3pt shooting near halftime... For a team that was socring 84 avg during the last 4 game span on the road they played me a trick.

Another loss.

Air Canada...

Tonight I get back on the winning track with the Toronto Raptors.

The Raptors hosts the New York Knicks and they need one more win to clinch home court advantage for the second round of the playoffs.
The Knicks are awful and they are out of the playoff race, they are playing without some key players and the ones that are playing aren’t that motivated. Tonight I expect a victory for
Toronto but the main thing that taunts my mind is that NY will not get to 85 points.
I think Toronto will hold the Knicks to a low scoring game and will not push the ball as they need to save strength for the though playoff race ahead.

Let´s take the Mets tonight...

Expect the Mets to carry out their great early season perfomances against a lowly Washington team that got a though win yesterday.

Michael Pelfrey might just be the next Justin Verlander, he is up to the task and tonight is just a introduction game to the NY crowd.
Expect the Mets to put up big numbers.

The explanation is short but it is trustworthy...

Take the NY Mets -1,5 @1.95 BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

I am getting unlucky lately...

The Minnesota Twins came through and won on the buzzer with a last inning solo run, but the total of the Mets went over by half a run...

The Mets vs. Phillies started well and on the bottom of the 4th there were 7 runs on the scoreboard, but only one more run was scored for the Mets... though luck.

1W - 1L last night.

Ciao Mr. BangB

If I had kids, I wanted Twins...

Late night bet on the Minnesota Twins.

The Twins play the Devil Rays at home and the pitchers matchup is ridiculous... Fossum is take the mound for
Tampa, and Minnesota is starting ace Silva.
Fossum is horrible and is coming of a surgery, well is ERA this season is 17.18 so far and Whip is over 2. Silva, on the other hand, is great in the last games. The Bullpen matchup is also in favour for the Twins, so no argument here.
Tampa got a big win yesterday in Texas by one run so they will be a little relaxed and they travelled to Minnesota, while the Twins are coming of a comfortable win over the Yankees (it is like a shot of vodka for the morale)

No question, take the Twins @1.63 BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

85 years old...

This is the combined age of the starting pitchers for the NY Mets vs. Phillies matchup.

Today we witness a duel of dinosaurs, the Mets are going with Tom Glavine and the Phillies are starting Jamie Moyer. This alone should be a reason to go with the Mets as they want to win the series, but the weather is awful.
Glavine as said that the cold weather, strong wins and heavy rain might affect his control, well, I expect this to happen to Moyer (44 years old) also.
Vegas is posting the game total at 8,5... I think that they are out of their minds. NY is hitting very good and the Phillies aren´t going to throw the game, I expect a lot of hitting and some defense errors on both sides (the Mets bullpen threw 61/3 innings yesterday).

Take over 8,5 @1.83 BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

The gunpowder was over...

Not too much too say about an offense which got one hit over 9 innings...

Dice-K delivered another quality start just giving up 3 runs in seven full innings, but the Mariners ace pitcher threw 9 innings for almost a no hitter (he only suffered one hit in the 8th inning).
When you win large there is not much too say... but when you loose like this... not much too say either.

A big L on the status bar.

Ciao,

Boston, again?

You must be thinking that this guy only bets on the Red Sox or NYY...

I know, but this is a winner... Boston is sending Dice-K back to the mound to face the Mariners cold bats today.
Seattle is going to be pissed off after last night's beating, but Boston just showed they are steaming... Felix Hernandez will be the Mariners pitcher and he is not bad, but their bullpen had to play 6 innings and they played poorly. Hernandez pitched the best game of his career against Oakland in day one, but the A´s are just miserable this week.

I expect Dice-K to bring home another victory supported by the fans and the big bats, the worst case scenario would be for the bullpens to decide this one and the advantage is on the better, fresher, Boston team.

Take Boston on the ML @1.62 BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

Tuesday, April 10, 2007

It is like stealing from a baby...

Boston scored in the first six innings they took the bat... in my dictionary that means a big win.

14 hits, 14 runs… it is still top of the ninth but the score is 14-1 and
Seattle has two outs. Just too much Red Sox for the Mariners, they started hitting Weaver on the first inning and never stopped. The score was 13-1 after 5 full innings, nothing more to add.
The game just ended, final score is 14-3.

You can add another win on your spreadsheet, I know I will.

Ciao,
Mr. BangB

It almost feels like an obligation...

Season opener at Fenway Park, Josh Becket takes the mound...

It just looks like a movie scene, it is too much emotion for an humble Red Sox fan.
Boston is hosting Seattle today at Fenway and Josh Becket has the ball, this alone seems like a winner, but the Red Sox will not disappoint their fans against a Mariners team that hasn’t played in 5 days and probably even gained some weight.
I think we will see the awakening of the big cannons today, Big Papi had two HR yesterday... expect the ball two fly.
Other then that, Jeff Weaver has struggled in the last years and this is not going to be an exception. The only thing that scares me is the big party that is scheduled to anticipate the game.

Still I will stick with Josh and the crew.

Take the Red Sox @1.48 at BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

Remember the Alamo?

I guess the Blazers do...

I am back on the winning track as San Antonio handed Portland a 112-96 defeat.
As I expected Portland got their shots in and gave the Spurs a fight for the win for must of the game, but taunted by Popovich´s yelling on the bench San Antonio managed to win this one easy.
Incredible thing for me is that the Spurs had 11 guys with 5 or more points and both teams shot over 50% from the field.

One more notch in my riffle,
Mr. BangB

Monday, April 9, 2007

Do you like barbecue? cause tonight we are going to Texas

When the rodeo is in town the San Antonio Spurs have to go on the longest NBA road trip, but the rodeo is long gone and they host the lowly Portland Trailblazers.

Vegas is making this a low points game, but I am not going to go on their talk...
Portland scored only 74 points on Saturday when they were routed by Dallas in Dallas and they are playing without Zach Randolph. I guess this should be enough to bet the under? Wrong... they can’t get worst then 74 points, they can only go up.
San Antonio has been scoring a lot lately and they wont see much defence from the blazers, but Portland is pissed because they aren’t scoring much.

In my opinion I see the Blazers looking very aggressive on offence and letting
San Antonio get is way, my only problem is if the Spurs decide to play those stupid 1 minute attack games.

Take the Over 179 @1.90 at BET365

Good luck,

Well, overtime is a b#%/$...

The game went almost as I expected, but my worst fear happened.

Wade missed a free throw with 2 seconds to go and the game went to overtime, as you might already guess the total went over in OT.

So this is a loss, but a painful one.

Late season NBA trends

The playoffs are just around the corner, so what to expect for the rest of the NBA season?

This is a time of the year were all Americans are paying extra attention to the start of the baseball season, and they turn their eyes away from the NBA. Don’t be fooled, there are still some euros to be earned just be careful with some late season predictions.
There is something called pride and everyone has his own, so there are a lot of guys that are going to be exceeding their potential to show that maybe they don’t deserve to be so far down in the ladder. Expect poor teams like the Boston Celtics, that covered the spread in Indiana last night (07-04-07), and they were playing without 8 players including Paul Pierce, to keep fighting for those points.
Also the heart plays a big role this time of the year… expect to see blood and tears in the playoff race, a lot of players will be playing with small injuries (Jermaine O´Neal is playing on one leg) so their game wont be the best, but the bookies will try and fool you by making them big favourites.
And last but not least, expect teams that have secured their spot on the boat to take their foot of the gas and save those extra strengths for that playoff run, this is typical on the 3rd to 5th seeds.
So expect the unexpected and think twice when
Dallas goes on the road (they lost ATS in the last 6), or Miami is playing home to the Bobcats… you might find yourself swearing at your computer and the poor guy is innocent.

Good luck,
Mr.BangB

Do you like South beach? I love it...

Since the last tip went well I couldn’t avoid making another one for today.

Miami is playing Charlotte @ South beach, and they will try to clinch the division title now that Arenas (Washington Wizards) is done for the season. I don’t think that the, lowly, Bobcats will slow down the Heat.
But I must not loose focus... my bet is under the game total points.
Vegas is tagging the game for 189,5 points, but
Miami’s haven’t reached that mark for a while. Now, they do this because they expect Miami to win and Charlotte to put up a show but I think that the Bobcats latest results is just good luck.
Miami’s game totals has gone under in 13 of the last 19 games @ home and the last games between them as gone over, but this was with a healthy Wade. Since the Bobcats became the Bobcats they only won one game from
Miami and I don’t think this will be number two.

Expect a low scoring game.

Take the Under 189,5 @1.90 at BET365

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

Close your umbrella, it is in my pocket...

I don’t even have to wait for the end of the game to post the W, it is already over 9,5 on the bottom of the eight.

I guess Yankee stadium is becoming a good ballpark for me, second win in two days. My prediction was correct about the pitchers, both struggled, but the Yankees are on the verge of loosing the series to
Baltimore.

Too bad for NYY, but it means another win for me,

Mr. BangB.

Let´s watch them fly...

Today’s tip brings us back to Yankee stadium.

The Yankees are playing the series finale against the Orioles just after lunch, and I think this one will be a great desert to watch. Sit back and enjoy as the runs pile up one after the other.
Both pitchers don’t have good "memoires" about their opponents, Erik Bedard never won at Yankee stadium and Darrel Rasner only lasted 2 1/3 of a inning and surrendered 5 runs last year vs. Baltimore, plus we saw Erik Bedard being tagged with 6 runs and 10 hits against Minnesota on opening day.

I will ride the momentum and bet on the big cannons (I wouldn’t be surprised if NYY destroyed the O´s).

Take the Over 9,5 @1.86 at BET365

Dramatic finale...

Unbelievable... just unbelievable...

Go to ESPN.com and watch this game wrap up in the video streaming... believe me, it is not time thrown away...
The Yankees trailed on a Kei Igawa´s poor performance, and a so-so performance from the O´s pitcher, but like I predicted the Yankees were not going to loose this one.
I am going to talk about the 9th inning... imagine a 7-6 O´s advantage on the bottom of the 9th, and the Yankees manage to get the bases loaded with 2 outs. Are you getting the picture? Now imagine that the guy grabbing the bat is A-Rod (the most controversial star to ever play for
New York).
A-Rod has a 1 ball and 2 strikes count, and Orioles closer Chris Ray is preparing to strike him out.
The pitch is thrown and... bang, A-Rod gets a piece of it... it flies, flies, flies, and it is out center field... it is a Grand Slam (go to Wikipedia to see what it is) and the Yankees win it, the Yankees win it...

Sorry for all the emotion, but it was just like this...

Another win, but a tasteful one.

Sports betting rules...

Hello all,

How many of you have bang your head against the wall when those stupid, easy, bets are going the wrong way? Or when you bet 20 euros and lost but then you bet 5 euros and won? It is frustrating!!!
Wouldn’t it be good to get extra euros instead of having a betting bill at the end of the month?
All the Pros, or at least the more experienced bettors, determine a set of rules that they follow religiously… this is not a guarantee that you will go rich, but at least the bookie looses that edge he used to have when you were throwing euros like a little kid.
I have a set of rules that I try to follow (when my head does not go crazy) to keep me in the race for a little extra pay check at the end of the month. Please remember that these are my rules that I figured out trough experience and learning from others, I advise everyone to research and create their own set of rules:

Rule #1: Only bet what you can afford
Sports’ betting is a dangerous business and I dare you to find news about a betting website or bookie that has bankrupted!!!
Always bet responsibly, create your own bank with an amount of money that if you loose no harm will come to your life. Never use rent, food, or your son’s future to bet.

Rule #2: Manage your stakes with an iron fist
You just had a couple of wins and you think you should bet a little more… it is a good choice since you are on a good streak. NO WAY!!!
This is a basic error, because your streak will end sooner or later. The same happens when you are loosing and want to get back to even faster.
Define your stake at the beginning of the season or when you deposit a new bank, this stake will be called the Unit and you should stick with it and do not modify it according to streaks or good tips.

Rule #3: Only bet in what you know
Keep it simple and follow the sports in which at least you understand the rules.
This rule applies to both sports you don’t know anything about or games you did not study. Do not go after those big odds, let it go… focus on the things you know and try to read the information correctly.

Rule #4: “I know that I don't know anything”
Socrates used to say it and it is true… always keep an open mind, you are not the master of information and there are a lot of people out there to learn from. Use the internet for this and start your quest, try web forums about betting, betting sites, everything you can put your hands on… and always listen what others have to say even if you don’t agree with them.

Rule #5: Avoid the favorites
Chelsea is playing Wigan at home ant the bookie is giving you 1.20… it is a very low odd but Chelsea will win 4-0 so it is easy money, right? WRONG.
The bookie is expecting you to do that and he is already rubbing is hands with joy. Avoid the big favorites because the odd usually does not pay the risk. If you decide to back a favorite you must be pretty sure he will win and do not rely on a hunch or pass results.

Rule #6: Never bet on that game on TV
When a game is on TV it does not mean that there is a profitable bet hiding somewhere.
Usually bettors spend hours finding a bet they consider a keeper just because the game is on TV, try to study the games before you know the sports channel lineup for the day or avoid to bet on that late afternoon match just because it will be fun to watch.

Rule #7: Don’t go into a black hole
Be aware that if you loose a bet you will immediately try to find another one to get back on track… this is one of the worst mistakes you can make. When you loose your mind starts seeing good bets everywhere, it does not matter if the risk is big or if you don’t know if the leading players are on the field.
This is what some bettors call the black hole syndrome, the more you try to bounce back the more you go deeper in that hole.
Just close your mind and go for a cup of coffee.

Rule #8: Do not bet in too much games
Find the game of the day and go strong, if you start dividing your bet on a lot of games the day will most probably become a loosing day.
Keep it simple and never forget to handle sports betting as a business.
Within this rule it always applies to parlays (multi-game betting), avoid mixing your bets, always try to bet on one game only and be very careful to join odds as this increases the possibility of a lost bet.

Rule #9: Never… but never bet LIVE
This is the where you will start loosing the big euros. Live betting is not a computer game, it is for real… it is very easy to get carried away with the nice odds or with the way the game is going. The truth is that a game flow is the best way to trick an inexperienced bettor and the bookies will eat you alive.

Best of luck,

Mr. BangB

Welcome to Yankee stadium...

Buy your hotdog and have a soda, we are going to see the Yankees...

Today the New York Yankees are playing these guys from
Baltimore (the Orioles), and they are pissed off.
The O´s beat the Yankees yesterday and they were supposed to play dead for the big Mike Mussina´s debut this year, I bet a lot of people lost they hard earned euros on this one.
So today we are going to see a, red eye, furious
New York team trying to destroy Steve Trachsel (that’s Baltimore’s pitcher) and they might just do that, my opinion of Trachsel is the worst, I just don’t think he should pitch at all.
Expect the Yankees to bounce back big at Yankee stadium, one of eldest in the MLB.

I am going for the big money and take the run line (RL), this means the Yankees must win by 2 runs difference.

Take NYY -1.5

Best luck,
Mr. BangB

It was all for fun after all...

Bring out the salt we have a ballpark to clean...

The weather played us a trick after all and the game was postponed due to heavy snow.
Yesterday’s game, after a one hour delay, started the way I predicted...
Seattle was playing poor defence with all those unforced errors and their pitcher was horrible. Cleveland was winning 4-0 and playing very well after 4 full innings, but then Seattle’s coach, after a long time pressure, convinced the referee that it was a snow storm and they were better of at home drinking a hot coffee.
The game was postponed 1 out away of being considered a valid game (the rule says so), but the game should have never started... the weather conditions were awful and they only started pitching because it was the season opener in
Cleveland.

So, despite of a clean prediction the game is off.

Tough
luck,
Mr. BangB

Brrr... it is chilling out there!!!

April showers bring May flowers...

Well, this may be true but we are still in the beginning of April and the boys from
Seattle are not use to the bad weather we are seeing in Cleveland.

Today’s early evening tip backs the Cleveland Indians. They are scheduled to host the Mariners in a very cold temperature, rain, and snow threat.
Cleveland is by far a better team and the pitcher they are using today is not bad (but has a lot to prove) and they played the last couple of days in Chicago which has a similar weather, I expect Seattle to struggle today.
It is different to sit in the dugout waiting to bat on negative temperatures (it is expected -7ºC at game time) or in
Seattle with 10ºC, also expect defenders to struggle against fly balls with the 12mph wind... It is going to be hard for both teams but I am relying on the experience of the home team.
The tribe is scoring a lot and they just scored 23 in three games against the White Sox (this is a god pitching squad).

Take the Indians ML

Dice-K...

Dice-K is the nickname the Americans tagged him with... remember it.

He started his MLB career with 10 strikeouts and only 1 run off a solo HR, impressive!!!
As expected, in spite of almost no help from fellow colleagues, Dice-K delivered that most deserved win and my pocket thanks him.

No question in this one as the blog stands at 6W-2L

Ciao,
Mr. BangB

Daisuke Matsuzaka...

I bet all my bank that 99% of you doesn't know what this means!!!

OK, maybe you know... the media has been impressive surrounding the Japanese ACE.
For those who don't, Daisuke Matsuzaka is the new Boston Red Sox pitcher for whom they paid 100 million dollars, so he has to start paying back all those printed presidents.

The Red Sox are scheduled to play in Kansas for Matsuzaka´s debut. Many argue that he will fall under pressure on his first MLB appearance, I don't.

This guy is a force of Nature, he performed fantastically in spring training, he handled the media pressure gracefully, he's been pitching solid innings in Japan for 5 years... well, is ready.
Better then that, they are facing the worst team in baseball for the last years. Expect Matsuzaka to come out strong and just nail every batter he faces, I wouldn't be surprised if he got 5 to 9 strikeouts.
Other then that, he's teammates are going to be there for him, they don't want their leading man to start the league in the wrong foot.

I expect the Red Sox to win this one easily... and they will post big numbers.

Just to be sure:
Bet Boston over Kansas on the money line (ML)

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

PS: I forgot to say that Dice-K has pitched again major leaguers... in the world cup in which he went for 3-0 and was named the best player of the world.

No harm... no foul...

Good morning,
one win and one loss, this is the result of last night predictions.

Wizards D is awful, I saw a little bit of the game and Charlotte was throwing a lot of, uncontested, layups... Washington wasn't simply there. Charlotte had the best first half of the season (what are the odds of this happening yesterday) shooting 57.3FG% from the field, when they average 44.1 for the season. I think that I am done talking, I lost period.

http://www.sportsline.com/nba/gamecenter/recap/NBA_20070403_WAS@CHA

But Detroit came through, despite Indiana shooting 62%FG at half time. The Pistons just dominated the second half.

Just too strong on the road...

Hi again...

Detroit is going to cover the -4.5 spread.
They are much better on the road ATS (against the spread)

Weber and Hamilton are still questionable due to flu, but they will play.

Jermaine O´neal is listed as probable, but is playing on one leg only. they had a tough win against San Antonio on the buzzer... this is not their game.

Detroit -4.5

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB

I don´t think so...

Another tricky suggestion.

I have been checking all the games and I don´t like even one.

But, I can´t avoid the team total for Charlotte... this is not a wager you can find in every betting sites, but if you go to www.bet365.com you will find it.

Vegas bookies are posting Charlotte´s total at 106, and they are not playing for the playoffs... take it easy.

  • They are the third worst at FG% with 44.1,
  • they score 99.1 in the last 10,
  • they scored 96.6 versus east teams,
  • they are playing without Othella Harrington and Sean May (Adam Morrison is also in a slump), Washington wants to prove that they can win without Caron Butler (injury last game).
So my prediction is Charlotte under 106 (sorry for everyone who can´t place the bet, but if you are in Bwin.com, run... the worst site ever).

Good luck,
Mr. BangB

Don´t send the kids to do a man´s job!

Hello all...

As I expected, Florida dominated Ohio state... outrebounded, out-tripled, out everything. This Florida team is just too strong.
The bookies tried to scare everyone but it obviously did not work, this was too much off a mismatch.

Let´s go Gators...

Welcome for the prediction everyone knew I was going to make.

The Gators will be national Champs. That’s right...

I was looking at the -4.5 spread they got, and I was wondering if the Vegas guys are kidding me.
Is this supposed to scare me? no way.

Florida returns one year after they did it all and with the same fantastic seven players that did last year, only one year older and more experienced. They are too good and too big for any other team; they are even being called the best team of the last 30 years.
They will score, and they will score a lot... I just hope their defense doesn’t loose focus.
Again it is all about Brewer, Noah and Horford. Ohio’s Oden is fantastic but he will see a lot of the bench with foul trouble.

Ohio does not have anyone to stop Corey Brewer, this is a small forward that stands at 6.9 and can easily shoot the treys.

Ohio is very good and they have proven that, but they are glad just to be here. On the other side, Florida is here to win it all that is why everyone skipped the NBA draft last year.
Mike Conley Jr. will not drive as much as usually against Florida’s big guys, and their three point shooting has dropped to 4 last game.

Expect Greg Oden to be in foul trouble in the first half, and hope that the rookies don’t step up.

Take Florida -4.5.
(If you bet at a site that let´s you take a few points off, bet at -3, just to be sure)

Bounce back...

Good morning everyone...

Everything went well last night after all, and I got my money back on the two late small bets.

As predicted, Glavine manage to keep a hand over Saint Louis but Carpenter almost killed my hopes with 5 runs allowed in the third and fourth innings.
And the Lakers destroyed Sacramento despite of a poor (if you consider below 40 for him to be poor) performance by Kobe.

I will make a prediction for the NCAAB final later today.

So now I stand at 3-1.

Late night small bet

Just so the start of the MLB season isn’t indifferent...

Lay a small bet on the under for
Saint Louis vs. NY Mets... Glavine and Carpenter, both former CY Young award winners, won’t be throwing many runs...

And go also small on a over bet on LA Lakers vs. SAC Kings... there will be fire on
Kobe and Bibby...

Hell on the Warriors

Hi...

It couldn’t be worst, Golden state destroyed my last prediction.

This is a terrible GS team that I don’t see going to the playoff, at least not defending like this.
They sent, the worst team in the NBA with major injuries, 45 times to the free throw line... this kills any defence. And they hammered 16 out of 36 treys... no total can resist this shoot out.

The game did not go as I expected, and
Memphis led almost all the way, this hurt my prevision for the development of the game.

Though luck...

So it´s even for my predictions, 1-1.

Risky one...

Today’s pick is a little tricky...

Yes, everything tells me that the Golden state vs. Memphis game is over 223 and everyone must be thinking that I am crazy to go against all trends, but I will have to go with the under.

Why? because I think that GS will win easy but they will not chase the big margin.

GS is in a though playoff race and they must spare all the strength they can, they wont keep running just to give Memphis the beating of their lives.
Memphis minds are already used to the last place this year, so they are playing without Miller, Stoudamire. This is good because a couple of their good shooters wont be there for the treys, and they are replaced by young players that want to be around next year. This means that the kids are more athletic and they will be more aggressive in defence.

Other than that, 8 of the last 10 meetings between them went under 223, the problem being that the last 2 went over.

Take a look at the game preview on the mentioned sites on the blog.

Take the under 223

Florida rules...

Hi everyone...

Florida
really dominated UCLA yesterday. As I predicted UCLA´s Afflalo was held scoreless for 34 minutes until he scored 17 with the game already in cruise mode for the Gators.

Corey Brewer (expect him in the top 15 picks of the NBA draft) dominated the first half, and Florida big men were just, simply, too much for the California kids.
They are just too eager for a 2-peat, they can become the first team over a 15 year span to do so.

I will give a thorough look at the Florida-Ohio rematch of the college football final earlier this year (and the Gators
also got that one).

So it is 1-0 for Today´s betting tips.

History repeats itself!!!

Today’s tip is all about the kids...

I will back the Florida Gators on their quest for success. They are bigger, better, stronger, and they are the champs what more do you need.
The Gators will have a rematch from last year’s final when they face UCLA today, and the Bruins will be foaming from their mouths for revenge. I will apologize in advance to the Bruins fans but they don’t even stand a chance.
The most dangerous player in UCLA lineup is Arron Afflalo, and he above all quests for payback, but like last year Florida´s Corey Weber will drain him out of those desired points. Weber will keep
Afflalo behind bars ... And UCLA´s center Lorenzo Mata will face, not one, but two! big men down post... It is just to much for him. In the point guard position they are balanced but the big men will make all the difference in defending, rebounding and scoring.

Take Florida -3.

Best of luck,
Mr. BangB
