Late season NBA trends

The playoffs are just around the corner, so what to expect for the rest of the NBA season?

This is a time of the year were all Americans are paying extra attention to the start of the baseball season, and they turn their eyes away from the NBA. Don’t be fooled, there are still some euros to be earned just be careful with some late season predictions.
There is something called pride and everyone has his own, so there are a lot of guys that are going to be exceeding their potential to show that maybe they don’t deserve to be so far down in the ladder. Expect poor teams like the Boston Celtics, that covered the spread in Indiana last night (07-04-07), and they were playing without 8 players including Paul Pierce, to keep fighting for those points.
Also the heart plays a big role this time of the year… expect to see blood and tears in the playoff race, a lot of players will be playing with small injuries (Jermaine O´Neal is playing on one leg) so their game wont be the best, but the bookies will try and fool you by making them big favourites.
And last but not least, expect teams that have secured their spot on the boat to take their foot of the gas and save those extra strengths for that playoff run, this is typical on the 3rd to 5th seeds.
So expect the unexpected and think twice when
Dallas goes on the road (they lost ATS in the last 6), or Miami is playing home to the Bobcats… you might find yourself swearing at your computer and the poor guy is innocent.

Good luck,
Mr.BangB
